January 2025 - January Coffee of the Month: Weather Helm Uganda (Rwenzori - Natural)
Sail into the new year with our January Coffee of the Month: Weather Helm Uganda (Rwenzori - Natural)—a limited-edition offering inspired by the art of balancing a sailboat’s tendency to turn into the wind. This exceptional coffee hails from the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda’s Kasese District, where 500 farming families, two-thirds of whom are women, contribute to the Busongora North Coffee Farmers Cooperative. Grown at elevations of 1,500–2,000 MASL and processed naturally, this medium roast delights with fruity sweetness and notes of blueberry and stone fruit.
By supporting these farmers, Sailors Coffee Company champions sustainable farming practices and helps break the cycle of generational poverty. A sip of Weather Helm Uganda (Natural) is more than coffee—it’s a celebration of resilience and prosperity.
